The start of Frenken Stable
In 2001 Frenken Stable’s love for the Frisian horse was born. Father Jan has bought two mare-foals in this year with a full paper and beautiful bloodlines.
Three years later, one of these mares became a STAR mare, to our great joy. In that year, 2004, son Sander was also interested in the Frisian horse breed. After following a number of courses, he bought his first STAR mare with which he started breeding.
In addition to our own breeding products, we also like to buy special and talented Frisians. With some of these Frisians, we have achieved great successes.
Our accommodation
At our stable we have several spacious stables and breeding stables. We have a 40 x 20 outdoor lane with a professional bottom, which allows the lane to be used throughout the year. We have a training mill, various paddocks and ample pasture for the horses. We therefore ensure that all horses are out of their stabled for a at least of a few hours a day. We also have a cozy coffee corner with fireplace that we gladly welcome everyone to.

Highlights
In the years when we are actively engaged in the breeding of the Frisian horse, we have already been able to make several highlights.
Our latest achievement was during the Central Testing 2015 in Drachten. Here we have received several awards. Unique fan Stal Bellefleur has become the champion of the youth and Maud van Bourboom has become the 3-year-old champion and overall reserve champion of the Central Selection 2015.
Prior to the Central Inspection, we brought seven Mares to the inspections in 2015, with no less than six first-premiums and one-star second premium.
In 2014 we also had success with Maud van Bourboom. During the Central Testing 2014, Maud also won the title as Two-year-old Champion and became overall youth champion.
